With over a decade of experience, Dr. Narmene Hamsho is a licensed psychologist and expert in the assessment of neurodivergent youth. As a current university professor and a Principal Investigator of several ongoing research projects, Dr. Hamsho is at the forefront of neurodiversity-affirming assessment practices. Her research has been featured in leading journals and national conferences, and she has helped shape best practices for supporting neurodivergent children in the classroom. Dr. Hamsho specializes in psychological evaluations for neurodivergent youth, combining clinical excellence with a deep understanding of school systems and family needs.
Dr. Hamsho is one of the only licensed psychologists in the state of New Jersey with a clinically active practice focused on assessment and diagnosis who concurrently serves as a full-time university professor. As a professor, Dr. Hamsho trains the next generation of school psychologists and knows the ins and outs of special education law, teaching graduate coursework on these topics. Dr. Hamsho's practice isn't just guided by research, she creates it!
