Dr. Hamsho is committed to clarity, transparency, and respect for your time and investment. As a private pay practice, I do not accept insurance. This allows me to provide highly personalized, timely, and comprehensive care—without the constraints of insurance networks.
In accordance with the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before services begin.
Flat Fee for Comprehensive Assessment
I offer a flat rate of $3,500 for a full psychological assessment. This includes:
A 60–90 minute interview/intake session
2–4 testing sessions individually tailored to the client's needs
A comprehensive record review
Administration of caregiver/educator questionnaires (when applicable)
Thorough scoring, interpretation, and report writing
A detailed feedback session
There are no hidden fees—this flat rate covers the entire evaluation process from start to finish.
Important Notes
I do not bill insurance. However, I can provide a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
A written Good Faith Estimate will be provided at least 3 business days before your first scheduled appointment.
If your final bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.
Potential for Updated Costs
If the assessment process is paused or delayed for an extended period of time, due to the client's scheduling needs, it may be necessary to repeat portions of the evaluation or conduct updated testing to ensure the results remain valid and clinically useful. This may result in additional charges, depending on the scope of the updated work. In such cases, a revised Good Faith Estimate will be provided to reflect any additional time or services required. Dr. Hamsho will always discuss these changes with you in advance and provide a written estimate before resuming services.
Refund Policy
All payments made to Hamsho Psychological Services, LLC are non-refundable. This includes the installment payments made toward the flat rate assessment fee. It’s important to understand from the outset: a diagnosis is not guaranteed. Because of the time, expertise, and care that go into every evaluation, refunds will not be issued due to disagreement with or dissatisfaction about the diagnostic outcome, or if the assessment process is paused or discontinued. If the scope of services changes significantly (e.g., due to a long pause or need for updated testing), a revised Good Faith Estimate will be provided before resuming services.
